Attention all School staff - help engage with your parents when talking about wellbeing
The Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families have released a fantastic booklet to explore a range of innovative ways that schools can help children by successfully engaging with parents and carers: 'Supporting mental health & wellbeing in schools: engaging with all parents & carers'.
The resource has tips and case studies that show both parents’ and schools’ perspectives. Topics featured include "Building rapport with parents and carers", "Having difficult conversations with parents and carers" and "Managing your feelings"
I've taken a look and there are some great ideas there to get you started.
