Direct therapy sessions are 1:1 with you and your child; they can be useful for children with a range of speech and language needs.
These are available in your home and usually last around 30 minutes per session with 15 minutes to discuss progress and homework activities.
Young people and parents may be given activities to do at home between sessions and a plan of ongoing activity suggestions is provided at the end of a therapy block.
A full 'block' is typically 6 sessions but your child can be seen for a one-off session, or for ongoing sessions.
Flexibility around the needs of you and your child is key at Learn to Communicate. Parents and support workers are encouraged to observe and participate in the therapy sessions.
School visits to demonstrate to staff are available.
